HOLY (MAUNDY) THURSDAY
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!
What a fool! A friend corrected my misimpression that Yogi is Jewish...he's EEtalian! Euch! "I didn't really say everything I said." I wrote some of it. Play ball!

No problem. You know how they stop the game in the middle of the seventh inning to sing that maudlin America the Beautiful song?
ReplyDeleteSo stop the game, mid-batter, at 3 pm. At the moment when Christ gave up His ghost, shoot off some fireworks and sing Oh Sacred Head Now Wounded.
"Please rise, remove your hats, face the cross, and sing..."
That would be a problem for Yogi though, eh?
