What are YOU doing today?
I'm battling the elements. It's me and the blower against 12-18 inches of pure, driven snow. This is great!!
Perhaps I miswrote. what I meant was: "I'm playing in the elements with my man-toys."
Winter wonderland, perfect 29 degrees, and today--blue skies, the aftermath of the storm. Whew, love it! There is nothing as wonderful as a Snow Day: the kids are home (Well, we homeschool, so that's a wash, but the neighborhood kids flooded over to play), it is snowing so hard all day the county plows are pulled off the road because they can't see. Five hundred cars stranded on the interstate, which serves them right. Glory. The routine of winter is suspended as we wade out into three-foot high drifts. I have to climb onto the shop roof to clear the snow off the satellite internet dish (Four times this winter!).

I miss the snow. I haven't seen it in two years now, there abouts.
ReplyDeleteBlue skies and snow is indeed glorious.
Oh, snow and 29 degrees sounds like heaven. Especially in a nice thick aggregation like that.
ReplyDeleteIn MN, we get snow and -10 degrees. If you want fun, that's not it.
Up in Green Bay, we got about one inch of snow instead of a foot. But these days of high temperatures preceeded by a minus sign are absolutely evil.
ReplyDeleteSir, thou art tagged. Do honor to't.
